Paul Hawken is an exceptionally hard working advocate for a better life on planet earth and one of the leading voices in the climate solutions movement. He is a writer, public speaker, serial entrepreneur, author of eight books, activist and has now taken a profound role in our ability to reverse global warming in our lifetime through solutions, science, education and action. Paul has dedicated much of his adult life, after early success with the natural food company Erewhon, then the highly praised garden tools catalog and horticulture company Smith and Hawken to elevating the conversation on subjects ranging from inequality and social justice, the importance of a renewable energy future, to modifying the basic relationship between business and the environment. His first book to tackle climate solutions, Project Drawdown has been a NY Times Best Seller and set the stage for the next chapter of his life dedicated to the concept of Regeneration – using resources in a manner that improves society’s well-being by enhancing Earth’s living systems through continued replenishment and less abuse and waste.
