Kevin Ranker is known as a dynamic, innovative thought leader, with a powerful and diverse background as a former elected Washington State Senator, White House advisor, conservation director, and global executive coach for top tier clients, philanthropic leaders and senior public officials. Kevin’s entire professional career has been purpose driven – working to help people, communities and the planet thrive. As Managing Partner and CEO at Global Mindset Strategies Group, Kevin oversees all executive duties and financial management of the global coaching and consulting firm, helping clients solve complex problems, identify and leverage opportunities and advance important initiatives.
Kevin has a deep understanding of politics, culture and policy throughout the globe and maintains a vast network of key political and business leaders. As Senior Fellow at The Ocean Foundation, Kevin conceptualizes and implements strategies for the foundation, including helping lead the organization’s programs to block offshore oil and gas development in the U.S., significantly decrease plastic pollution in the world’s oceans and address ocean acidification globally. He continues to be an outspoken advocate for the environment, equality and civil rights, leading the charge for ocean, energy and climate policy. He is a longtime surfer, swimmer, sailor and ocean lover and was a former national director of the Surfrider Foundation.
