Danni Washington is a positive force of nature, wearing many hats and playing several key leadership roles towards a better tomorrow. She is an ocean advocate, science communicator, Marine Biologist, public speaker. podcast host, lover of the arts and Adventure, Board Member for the Pangea Seed Foundation, but she is foremost the first African-American woman to host her own science television series. Danni is deeply passionate about inspiring the next generation to connect deeply to the natural world, and has spent over 10 years finding creative ways to convert her love for the ocean, and interest in science, into exciting, inventive projects. She is the host of a recent STEM educational TV show featuring the most current advances in bio-inspired technology and design called Xploration: Nature Knows Best, which aired nationwide on FOX, streams on HULU and Amazon Prime. She is a graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Marine Science & Biology. In addition to her love of Marine Biology, youth outreach and the arts, she is also an avid scuba diver, stand-up paddle boarder, digital influencer, curly girl and devotee to the outdoors. She became a certified scuba diver at 17 and at age 21, she co-founded the Big Blue & You, a 501C-3 dedicated to inspiring and educating youth about marine conservation through arts and media.
